On the following pages, you’ll find everything you need to apply for undergraduate study at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
Below you will find the key application dates for applying for 2024 entry.
Application timeline for 2024 entry
UCAS deadline for applications for Medicine and Dentistry courses for equal consideration.
Applications for all 2024 entry undergraduate courses, except those with a 16 October deadline, should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) on 31 January 2024.
This is UCAS's 'equal consideration' deadline - this means course providers must consider all applications received by this time equally.
Applications received after this deadline will be considered where vacancies exist, once the on-time applications have been considered.
If you're not holding any offers and have used all five choices, you can submit another choice through Extra.
If you applied by 31 January 2024, this is the deadline for universities to decide whether they will make you an offer.
You’ll be given a deadline by UCAS to accept or reject the offer.
If you received your university decision by 16 May 2024, you must reply to the offer by today.
Any applications received after 18:00 (UK time) today will be automatically entered into clearing.
Clearing opens today.
It will close on 21 October 2024.
If you applied by 30 June 2024 and you’re still awaiting a decision, the University has until 17 July 2024 to decide if we’ll make you an offer.
If you received your offer by 17 July 2024, you must reply by today.
Results are published on the following dates:
- Saturday, 6 July - International Baccalaureate
- Wednesday, 10 July - Pearson BTEC QCF (unreformed)
- Friday, 26 July - Access to HE Diploma
- Tuesday, 6 August - Scottish Qualifications (SQA)
- Tuesday, 13 August - Cambridge International A Levels and Pre-U
- Thursday, 15 August - JCQ results including A-level, BTECs, Welsh Baccalaureate, CTECs, T-Levels
- Friday, 23 August - Irish Leaving Certificate
